Traffic Hazards
The proliferation of wild boars, particularly in regions such as Andalucia, Alicante, and Murcia, has led to a surge in road accidents. These animals, often active at dawn and dusk, are venturing onto roads in search of food, resulting in dangerous encounters with vehicles. The Spanish authorities have reported several incidents where drivers have collided with boars, leading to severe damage to vehicles and, in some cases, injuries to drivers and passengers.
