Born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1953, Isak Andic emigrated to Barcelona with his family in 1969. This move marked the beginning of a remarkable journey that would see him become one of the most influential figures in the Catalan and global fashion industry. In 1984, Andic, along with his brother Nahman and fellow entrepreneur Enric Cusí, founded Mango, a brand that would go on to achieve international recognition with a presence in over 100 countries and hundreds of stores worldwide.

Tragic Passing

Andic's life was cut short in a tragic mountain accident on December 15, 2024, in Collbató, Baix Llobregat, approximately 45 kilometers outside Barcelona. Emergency services found his body after he fell from a great height down a ravine in the Coves de Salnitre area.
