Execution and Impact
The asphalting project is being executed by the company Surhisa SuĂĄrez e Hijos S.L. and is expected to continue in other neighborhoods such as Casablanca I and El Lasso once the work in Escaleritas is completed. The project aims not only to improve the road conditions but also to enhance traffic flow and safety, making the area more accessible and comfortable for both residents and visitors.
Community and Economic Benefits
This infrastructure upgrade is seen as a significant boost to the local community, enhancing the aesthetic and functional appeal of the neighborhood. Improved roads are expected to increase property values, attract more businesses, and generally improve the quality of life for those living in and around Escaleritas.
The City Council's commitment to this project underscores its dedication to maintaining and improving the city's infrastructure, ensuring that Las Palmas de Gran Canaria remains a desirable place to live, work, and visit.
